The Burj: Standard Room. Bucket List!

I make no secret of my desire to one day travel to Dubai just to stay at The Burj, voted one of the world’s best Hotel’s year after year.

The Burj lays claim to be the only 7 star Hotel (however as there is no rating system that goes to 7, they can shout it to the rooftops as much as they like)

At around $1500 AUD per night for the “Standard” room, I thought I would see how it would compare with your average standard 5 Star room elsewhere.

Comparing to other Standard hotel rooms of roughly 24 square metres, with either a shower or shower over bath, crappy Hotel Brand amenities, lucky to be able to fit one suitcase and sometimes a view of the rooftop air conditioning units (or car parks), I would gladly pick The Burj any day. (If I can only afford the price tag!) See below why….

If this is just the standard room, I can only imagine how much bling is provided in their larger suites!
